A virtual meeting to discuss the projects’ exploitation approach
Following the conclusion of the last FLEXINDUSTRIES General Assembly held in Istanbul from the 5th to the 6th of July, ICONS has successfully conducted an in-depth exploitation workshop.
The aim of this workshop was to present and discuss the exploitation approach of the project. A key component of the workshop involved a productive debate on the strategies to adopt for exploitation, as well as a discussion on the potential opportunities that could arise from key exploitable results identified within the project pipeline.
During the workshop, several examples for exploitation strategies have been presented, such as the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) Upscaling, which involves the expansion or improvement of existing technology or service based on new research or customer projects, or the further research and scientific exploitation, meaning that FLEXINDUSTRIES remains dedicated to pursuing ground breaking research and scientific development, to continually push the boundaries of what is possible within the energy intensive industry.
Moreover, the discussion on Intellectual Property (IP) saw enthusiastic participation from all partners, due to the anticipated breadth of outcomes from the FLEXINDUSTRIES project and the collaborative efforts among various entities towards the advancement of innovative technologies.
Finally, the workshop provided an in-depth exploration into the various types of anticipated projects results. These include the development of novel technologies and software, the creation of innovative models and methodologies, and the provision of services aimed at advancing the industry. The results also encompass novel or improved applications of technology in demo sites, while also attaching great importance to the advancement of knowledge in the industrial sector.
ICONS, as the organizer of this workshop, along with all the other partners are confident that the exploitation strategies basis outlined during the event will contribute to the advancement of FLEXINDUSTRIES’ objectives. By continually refining these strategies and identifying new opportunities, FLEXINDUSTRIES is poised to contribute significantly to the future of industrial development.
