We are pleased to share with you the recent progress achieved within FLEXIndustries.
The review meeting marking the end of the second reporting period, held in July, offered an excellent opportunity for constructive dialogue between the consortium and the Project Officer, allowing us to take stock of the project’s overall health and future perspectives. The event concluded positively, with only a set of recommendations to be addressed in the remaining months.
In addition, the work dedicated to the development of the resources and data management layer has been successfully completed. This includes the definition of the overall ICT infrastructure of the FLEXIndustries platform, the modelling and simulation of value streams, processes, energy and flexibility solutions, as well as the design and development of the Digital Twin frontend infrastructure and SDK. This comprehensive work provides the digital backbone on which the entire project can build.
We are now fully entering the phase focused on monitoring the hardware and software solutions implemented across the FLEXIndustries demo sites. While the project continues to face certain challenges, the mitigation actions put in place—developed jointly with the consortium’s multidisciplinary teams, one of the project’s greatest strengths—allow us to look ahead with (cautious) optimism!
